Youth Opportunities: Join us this summer at the WINTER PUBLIC LIBRARY for a fun-filled summer reading program filled with arts/crafts, games and activities based around the theme Tails and Tales. Stories and activities are all based on books related to animals and tales. Programming will be on the following dates beginning at 6:00 p.m. There will also be weekly TAKE and MAKE activities for youth to participate in. Each time a youth participates in a youth in-person or take home activity, they will be entered into the drawing for prizes during the Finale Party. Pre-registration is not required but desirable. 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten at home program is offered for children under age 6 as a reading program.
Adult Opportunities: New this summer is our incentive reading program for the adult reading program. Any adult that visits the library and checks out materials will receive a librarian made scratch off ticket. You can be an instant winner and win from a variety of local prizes and gift cards or win extra tickets for the Grand Prize Drawing in August. Every ticket is a winner. Earn extra scratch off tickets by completing weekly specialized take home activities. No registration for the program is required. The program begins on Monday, June 14th-August 27th. Grand Prize winners will be announced on August 28th.
